Allan McDougall Solicitors would like to reassure you that we are doing our utmost to ensure we maintain our service to clients throughout this difficult period. All our team members are now working from home, continuing to progress our cases as we normally would. Our IT systems enable us to continue to access case information quickly and securely, allowing us to maintain the service we usually provide. The main difference to clients is that we are now undertaking consultations by telephone rather than face to face for the time being.
If you have an existing case with us
We are continuing to work on all our cases as promptly as we always do, keeping you updated as usual. We expect our opposing solicitors and insurers similarly to be able to conduct their part of cases remotely, so we expect to be able to progress in the usual way.
If you are contacting us, please use email rather than letter. Please liaise as usual with your solicitor using their email address.
Of course, there are some things we cannot control, and some may affect the progress of cases. For example, it is inevitable that GP practices and hospitals will not be processing requests for medical records within the same timescales. Some appointments for medical examinations by experts may be affected. Any new measures the courts need to put in place may also affect timescales.
