Winners at The Herald Law Awards of Scotland 2023
Allan McDougall Solicitors has won both the Litigation Team of the Year award and the Corporate Social Responsibility Award at The Herald Law Awards of Scotland 2023.

Julie Harris, a partner with Allan McDougall Solicitors, commented: “We’re extremely grateful to be recognised in these prestigious awards. Commenting on the Litigation Team of the Year award, won by the firm’s personal injury team, the judges “agreed that Allan McDougall Solicitors displayed very interesting examples of cases they are involved in, and it's clear that the firm has a strong sense of purpose with a strong social and community initiative. They position themselves as “approachable experts” that clients trust and feel comfortable with. A well-established firm with a particularly strong relationship with trade unions, they demonstrated impressive revenue growth as well as outstanding client results.”
Remarking on the Corporate Social Responsibility Award, the judging panel “particularly liked Allan McDougall Solicitors’ deep relationships formed with the firm's three main CSR partners and the excellent feedback from the organisations. They demonstrated a very clear and well-expressed strategy. It is evident from the testimonials that the CSR projects have not only had a positive impact on the organisations and individuals they support, but also on those who participate from within the firm.”
Our family law team was also a finalist for the Family and Child Law Team of the Year award, one of the most keenly contested categories. Julie Harris added: “Our fantastic family law team has punched well above its weight this year, handling many, often complex, cases.
