Supporting International Workers’ Day celebrations
As part of this year’s celebrations of International Workers’ Day, we are sponsoring the Great Edinburgh May Day Cabaret, Songs For Solidarity, and Glasgow’s Great May Day Cabaret.
The Great Edinburgh May Day Cabaret
This will be the Great Edinburgh May Day Cabaret’s third year running of comedy, music and poetry to celebrate International Workers’ Day. Compered by Jim Monaghan, the event will feature poetry from Kevin P Gilday, comedy from Vladimir McTavish and music from Calum Baird, Elsie McDonald and Joe Solo.
Supporting the Great Edinburgh May Day Cabaret alongside Allan McDougall Solicitors are Fair Pley, the Scottish Trade Union Congress (STUC), and The Edinburgh, Lothians and Borders May Day Committee.

Songs For Solidarity
Promising an unforgettable evening of radical song and solidarity to celebrate International Workers' Day, Songs For Solidarity will bring together folk musicians from Edinburgh and beyond for a night of powerful performances, inspiring stories, and collective spirit.
Supporting Songs For Solidarity alongside Allan McDougall Solicitors are Fair Pley, the Scottish Trade Union Congress (STUC), and The Edinburgh, Lothians and Borders May Day Committee.

Great May Day Cabaret, Glasgow
Unite Scotland and the Calton Weavers Commemoration Committee are bringing the Great May Day Cabaret to the Stand Comedy Club in Glasgow this year. Hosted by Susan Morrison, the show will also feature Ayo Adenekan, Jim Monaghan, the Wakes, and special guests.
Supporting Glasgow’s Great May Day Cabaret alongside Allan McDougall Solicitors are Unite Community and Unite Hospitality.
