Alison Bosshardt
Alison became an employee of Allan McDougall Solicitors in 2002, working in the firm’s Personal Injury team. She joined as a Legal Secretary initially to provide secretarial, administrative and PA support to David Harris. This was a very busy and challenging role. With David Harris also leading the training and supervising of trainees in the personal injury team, Alison provided secretarial support and guidance in the firm’s culture and ways of working to these team members too. She also assisted in numerous other office tasks on a daily basis, which included noting all relevant court dates for the department and providing IT support.
In February 2018, following a departmental reorganisation, Alison transferred to work as PA to Gordon Milligan, an Associate within the firm.
Before joining Allan McDougall Solicitors, Alison had gained legal secretarial experience predominantly in conveyancing but also in private client and family law.
In addition, she was in the Women’s Royal Naval Reserve, based at Rosyth, for a number of years.
Education
Alison has a Paralegal Qualification in Conveyancing.
Outside Work
Alison enjoys spending time with her family, sunshine holidays, cooking and swimming.
